Heartwood Tree Co. is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means semantic structure and headings, meaningful text alternatives for imagery, sufficient color contrast, visible keyboard focus, and full respect for the “reduce motion” setting — our animated hero degrades to a still image when reduced motion is requested.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time task. We review the site as we update it and correct issues as we find them. Some third-party content may not yet fully meet our target, and we work to improve it.
